🇫🇷 PROCESSUS D’EMBALLAGE
C’est un réelle privilège en tant qu’artiste de vous voir souhaiter acquérir une de mes oeuvres afin de l’avoir de manière permanente pour votre quotidien. Alors c’est un devoir de tout faire pour la protéger durant son transport jusqu’à votre domicile, et même votre mur !
À la fin de cette page, vous trouverez quelques photos illustrant une oeuvre assez grande que j’ai eu l’occasion d’emballer et d’envoyer. L’acquéreur a pu la recevoir en excellent état grâce à chacune de ces précautions. J’ai aussi ajouté une video qui guide ma manière de procéder lorsqu’il s’agit d’emballer mes toiles avant de vous les envoyer.
🇬🇧 PACKAGING PROCESS
It is a real privilege as an artist to have you wish to acquire one of my works and have it permanently for your daily life. So it is a duty to do everything I can to protect it during its shipping to your home, and even your wall!
Here are a few pictures of quite a large piece that I had the opportunity to pack and ship. The buyer was able to receive it in excellent condition thanks to each of these precautions.
🇫🇷 1- Touche Finale
Chaque oeuvre est contre-signée à l’arrière et un cordon métallique est installé sur le cadre pour que vous puissiez facilement attacher votre tableau sur votre mur.
🇬🇧 1- Final touch
Each piece is counter-signed on the back and a metal cord is installed on the frame so you can easily attach your painting to your wall.
🇫🇷 2- Certificat d’authenticité
Avant d’ajouter une première couche de protection en papier, je glisse le certificat d’authenticité le long de la toile en arrière. Puis le tableau est emballé une première fois avec une feuille de papier qui évite au plastique de coller à la toile.

Before adding a first layer of paper protection, I slide the certificate of authenticity along the canvas at the back. Then the painting is wrapped once with a sheet of paper that prevents the plastic from sticking to the canvas.
🇫🇷 3- Protection en carton
Chaque coin de l’oeuvre est protégée par un carton ou du plastique bulle. Ensuite l’œuvre est pré-emballé dans un carton protégeant la toile, carton également un peu plus grand pour laisser un peu de marge et prévenir les chocs.
🇬🇧 3- Cardboard protection
Each corner of the work is protected by a cardboard or bubble plastic. Then the work is pre-packed in a cardboard protecting the canvas, cardboard also a little larger to leave a little margin and prevent shocks.
🇫🇷 4- Emballage à bulles
L’oeuvre est ensuite enveloppée dans un emballage à bulles bien serré autour du tableau.
🇬🇧 4- Bubblewrap
The work is then wrapped in bubble wrap tightly around the painting.
🇫🇷 5- Paquet prêt à l’envoie et numéro de suivi
Finalement, l’œuvre est insérée dans un carton de transport standard, resistant et servant au transport de télévision aux écrans très fragile. Dès que le transporteur aura récupérer le paquet, je vous envoie un numéro de suivi pour que vous soyez en mesure de savoir où est rendue votre oeuvre.
🇬🇧 5- Package ready to ship and tracking number
Finally, the work is inserted in a standard transport box, resistant and used to transport television with very fragile screens. As soon as the carrier picks up the package, I will send you a tracking number so that you will be able to know where your artwork is.
